What you see there is one of my new "toys". I had dinner with Sean last night and while waiting for his sister's call, we ended up at Toys R Us in Galleria. Then I saw this:



Yes, folks. I bought two packages of slime. These are actually my stress relievers. I can mash, pound, twist, tear, squeeze or stretch them every which way. Just don't get the gloop on your clothes. They're pretty hard to remove. The gels are ok. They're bouncy and fun to tear apart as well. It's like lightweight clay. Since they come in little canisters, I can bring my choice of goo anywhere and handle it anytime I want.

The handling of this rather sticky icky stuff is like zen to me. I can just get lost in my thoughts while my hands mold the goop or let the ooze flow through my fingers.

Call it my security blanket.
